In this lesson, listen first, then build each sentence yourself. Just don't learn my sentences by heart. Make every sentence about your own family.

Bonjour mes amis 👋🏽

Talking about your family sounds easy until you have to build each sentence in French: which form of the verb, un or une, grand or grande.

Today we build one correct sentence at a time. By the end of this lesson you will be able to:

  • answer five real exam questions about your family in full French sentences;

  • choose the right form of être, avoir, habiter and aimer for je, il, elle, nous, ils and elles;

  • put the right article in front of every noun, and leave it out when you give someone's job;

  • make every describing word agree with the person you are describing;

  • say 12 phrases about your family from memory, in the order the oral asks for them.

In the full lesson you'll hear me say every phrase, then say it back until you can answer the family questions without looking.
