πŸ‘‹πŸ½ Hi, I'm Saf! I teach French at Arc School: live classes each week, lesson resources, exam practice and personalised coaching for your final exams. Or maybe you're not studying for an exam at all and just want to learn French β€” you're welcome here too! ☺️ In this lesson, listen to each question before you read it, answer out loud, then compare your answer with mine. Just don't learn my answers by heart. Answer about your own life, in your own words.

Bonjour mes amis πŸ‘‹πŸ½

Your CSEC French oral is one of the most exciting β€” and daunting β€” parts of the exam. It's your chance to show how well you can actually speak French. But unlike the written papers, there's no time to carefully work out your answers. You have to listen, think and respond on the spot.

The good news? You can prepare for that, and that's exactly what we're going to do.

We'll work through questions about your daily routine, sports and free time, learning how to recognise what's being asked, organise your thoughts and respond clearly and naturally in French. We'll also tackle some essential pronunciation rules to help you speak with greater confidence. You'll learn how to:

  • Recognise what each question requires.

  • Give direct answers and develop them with relevant details.

  • Move naturally between the present, past and future.

  • Apply essential French pronunciation rules.

  • Listen to your own responses and identify areas for improvement.

You'll listen, speak, record your answers and compare them with mine. The goal isn't to memorise answers. It's to become more comfortable thinking and speaking in French.

If you're reading the free preview, subscribe to Arc to open the full lesson. If you're already one of my students, keep going.

Put your headphones in and get your phone ready to record. Allons-y! 🎧
