Sir Toby is easy to describe. He drinks, he sings, and he plays tricks on people. Writing about his power is harder, because every scene you pick has to show him controlling someone, and the question asks you for more than one kind of paragraph.
So in this lesson we'll write one complete essay about Sir Toby and power, and then take it apart.
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
read a question about power and see what each part of it wants
choose two moments that really show Sir Toby's power
explain what his power does to another character
write about dramatic irony by saying who knows what
outline and write a whole essay on a new question, then check it
